Basic Bellydance - Tues. afternoon from Noon to 1 p.m.
Basic Bellydance for Fitness - Wed. evenings from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Upper Level Bellydance - Wed. evenings from 7:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Class cards are $35 for 5 classes. You can purchase them from Natakiya directly in class or you can (soon) order them through Paypal.
Drop-In classes are $10.
Senior rate class cards are $28 for 5 classes for ages 60 and above.
- No special clothing or equipment is required. Please wear clothes that allow you to move such as exercise clothing, yoga clothing, sweatpants and t-shirts but not things that are movement restrictive like jeans.
- No extra equipment is necessary - the teacher brings veils and hip scarves to class for students to borrow.
- The Basics class format begins with a warm up and strength isolations. Next is veil work to strengthen arms and increase heart rates followed by instruction in the beginning moves of bellydance. At the end of class there is a simple combination using all moves learned during class and then a stretching period to properly cool down the muscles.
